Ambient reproduction

2019-20
Performance (live generative sound & movement),
20 min

A labour of reconfiguration,
of bodies and  hierarchies,
the battle between nature and culture,
the opaque and the pure, the black, the white and everything in between,
the perceived passives in the way of progress.

A labour of love
in the most unromantic meaning of the word,
romance can only be equated with privilege
these days,
possibly was always,
rebuilding and reshaping
this damaged ecological landscape,
the landscape rebuilding and reshaping
our vulnerable bodies & communities.

We find communion in the sonic.

Machines, humans, nature-life
ambiently mixing in an eternal
indeterminate performative set.
Proofs of their continuity,
proofs of their interdependency,
extrapolated into alternative spaces of becoming.
